Speaker: Maureen Mondor, Vice President, Risk Managment, ProMutual Group. Maureen Mondor is Vice
President of Risk Management for ProMutual Group, the leading provider of medical professional liability insurance in the Northeast. ProMutual Group, through subsidiaries ProMutual, ProSelect and
ProSelect National, provides coverage to nearly 23,000 physicians, surgeons and dentists as well as hundreds of hospitals, health centers and clinics.
Ms. Mondor has been a member of the
company’s risk management team since 1982. As a risk management representative, senior representative, supervisor and currently as vice president, she has seen the department grow from a
three-person staff to a 16-person team. Among her many achievements at ProMutual Group are the development of the office appraisal and “Physician Report Card,” the creation of an emotional support
program for physicians dealing with the stress of litigation, and the implementation of a series of educational programs for member professionals. Ms. Mondor also spearheaded corporate
relationships with specialty-specific medical and dental groups. More recently, she oversaw the accreditation of the CME Program at ProMutual.
Ms. Mondor is a professional liability
insurance executive and registered nurse with 25 years experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, publications, and public speaking. She has served as a consultant on statewide, national
and international levels on risk management strategies and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State College, an Associate in
Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America, and she maintains affiliations with numerous medical groups.
