Submit a digital photo from your community using your camera phone or digital camera and help promote education and environmental awareness.
In keeping with NECOEM's mission to increase awareness and promote education on environmental medicine related causes, conference attendees are invited to participate in an amateur photo contest. Entries must be submitted by Wednesday, November 10th and submitted by email to NECOEM@comcast.net (or use SendThisFile.com to NECOEM@comcast.net if the file is larger than 10 MEG).
The image should be reflective of an environmental activity in your own home or personal community that demonstrates a personal or community initiative to help diminish green house gases. The photos need not be "professional" in any way and can be taken by a digital camera or even a phone camera.
Photos will be displayed as rotating pictures at the conference on a flat screen and a winner chosen.
1. The image should be reflective of an environmental activity in your community that demonstrates a personal or community initiative to help diminish green house gasses (e.g. children assisting a parents in growing a personal garden). Examples might be in the areas of energy reduction, food preparation, or transportation.
2. Photos may be black and white or color and must have a title and its location. Please submit a brief description of the photo not to exceed 50 words.
3. Submissions will only be accepted from a 2010 conference attendee. Contestants should be amateur photographers.
4. A winning photo will be selected based on picture content and creativity.
